Apple CEO Tim Cook Asks “Why would you buy a PC anymore?”

Apple CEO Tim Cook believes that the PC era is coming to an end.

During a special iPad Pro event held in the Covent Garden store, Apple’s chief executive talked about various topics, including Apple TV, Apple Watch sales and encryption, and he mentioned PCs as well.

“I think if you’re looking at a PC, why would you buy a PC anymore? No really, why would you buy one?” Mr. Cook told the journalists.

The iPad Pro will be available for online purchase starting from November 11 in more than 40 countries, and later this week, this 12.9-inch tablet will also be available in the stores.
