More about NFC:

With payment systems on the smartphones – Samsung Pay and Android Pay NFC is a something quite known. For those who are yet to learn the speciality of NFC or what it actually does, it is nothing but a way of letting people go cashless and cardless.

NFC works with two devices, for the communication to happen a transmitting device is needed and the other one is for receiving the signal. There are different devices that can be used and they can be both active and passive based on the way they work.

Active NFC sends and receives data. The most common active NFC devices are the smartphones.

Small transmitters such as tags that have the ability to send information to NFC devices without a power source are passive NFC devices. These devices just connect to other passive components and cannot process any information sent. Examples of passive devices can be interactive signs on walls.

NFC is now quite popular, but most importantly it is super useful.
